Base Oil Group – IV
PAO 10cSt

Description:
PAO 10 is a Group IV synthetic base oil, manufactured through the oligomerization and hydrogenation of linear alpha-olefins. With a kinematic viscosity of approximately 10 cSt at 100°C, PAO 10 is engineered for use in high-performance lubricant formulations where superior film strength, oxidation stability, and viscosity retention are required.

This base oil provides an excellent balance of low-temperature fluidity, high viscosity index, and thermal stability, making it suitable for demanding applications such as heavy-duty engine oils, gear oils, compressor lubricants, and industrial fluids. Its low volatility and shear stability further enhance lubricant life and performance under severe conditions.

Key Performance Features:

  • High viscosity index for consistent performance across wide temperature ranges

  • Outstanding oxidation and thermal stability for extended oil life

  • Excellent film strength at high operating temperatures

  • Low volatility – reduces oil consumption and emissions

  • Good low-temperature flow properties for cold-start performance

  • Excellent compatibility with a wide range of additives and base oil groups (I–V)

  • Non-toxic, odorless, and colorless

Applications:

  • Heavy-duty diesel and gasoline engine oils (PCMO, HDEO)

  • Industrial gear and transmission oils

  • Synthetic compressor and turbine oils

  • Hydraulic fluids operating in extreme environments

  • Grease production requiring enhanced viscosity and stability

  • Blending of multigrade synthetic lubricants
