Description
OZ 3117 is a high-performance gear oil additive package specifically designed for the formulation of both automotive and industrial gear oils. This package delivers enhanced load-carrying capabilities, anti-wear protection, and thermal stability for use in demanding applications. It supports the formulation of API GL-4 and GL-5 level gear oils, making it suitable for manual transmissions, differentials, and a variety of heavily loaded gear systems.
In addition to its excellent EP (extreme pressure) performance, OZ 3117 is compatible with a wide range of base oils and is formulated to reduce unpleasant odors often associated with gear oil packages. It meets the viscosity and additive requirements for both light-duty and heavy-duty gear applications, including SAE and industrial viscosity grades.

Recommended Dosage
- API GL-5 level: 4.0% by mass
- API GL-4 level: 2.0% by mass
- Industrial gear oils (heavy load): 1.0% intermediate load

Blending and Storage
- Maximum storage temperature: 60 °C
- Recommended long-term storage temperature: ≤45 °C
- Product is non-flammable and non-explosive
- No special protective measures required, but standard chemical handling procedures should be followed
- In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water
