Infineum P6003 – Mid SAPS Passenger Car Engine Oil Additive Package

Description

Infineum P6003 is a premium Mid SAPS additive package specifically developed for formulating high-performance passenger car engine oils. Designed to meet modern OEM requirements, it enables the production of lubricants that comply with MB-Approval 229.31 and 229.51 at 0.08% phosphorus and 0.8% sulphated ash levels.

When blended at a treat rate of 12.3% mass with high-quality Group III base oils and recommended Infineum viscosity modifiers, P6003 delivers engine oils capable of meeting a wide range of industry and OEM performance standards across multiple viscosity grades. Formulations and performance claims remain viscosity-grade specific.

P6003 provides excellent wear protection, outstanding cleanliness, optimized oxidation control, and full compatibility with modern emission-control systems.

Handling and Storage

Infineum P6003 is temperature-sensitive and should be handled with proper heating control to prevent decomposition or release of odorous or hazardous vapors.

  • Minimum load/unload temperature: 55 °C
  • Maximum load/unload temperature: 65 °C
  • Maximum storage temperature: 60 °C
  • Do not reheat above: 65 °C

Avoid localized overheating and ensure gentle, uniform heating using controlled systems such as low-pressure steam or self-limiting hot-oil systems.

Standard practices for handling lubricant additives apply. For detailed safety information, refer to the relevant MSDS.
