SN600

Description:
SN 600 is a heavy-grade Group I solvent neutral base oil manufactured via solvent refining, dewaxing, and mild hydrofinishing of paraffinic crude oil. With its high viscosity and excellent film strength, SN 600 is particularly well-suited for use in the formulation of industrial lubricants, automotive gear oils, marine oils, and greases. Its higher molecular weight and strong solvency provide superior additive compatibility and performance under demanding conditions.

Production Process:

• Solvent Extraction: Eliminates undesirable aromatics and polar compounds
• Solvent Dewaxing: Improves cold flow and pour point behavior
• Hydrofinishing: Enhances oxidation resistance, color, and clarity

• Viscosity @ 100°C: ~11.5–13.5 cSt
• Viscosity Index (VI): 90–105
• Flash Point (COC): >240°C
• Pour Point: -6°C to -9°C
• Color (ASTM D1500):5–L3.5
• Sulfur Content: >0.03%
• Density @ 15°C: ~0.890 kg/L
• Aromatic Content: Moderate – aids in additive dissolution and dispersancy
