Description:
N150 is a light-viscosity Group II base oil produced through hydrocracking and severe hydrotreating of high-quality paraffinic crude. It offers outstanding oxidation stability, low sulfur content, and excellent low-temperature properties, making it a highly versatile base stock for a wide range of automotive and industrial lubricants. N150 is water-clear and chemically pure, allowing for excellent additive compatibility and long-lasting performance in demanding applications.
Production Process:
Hydrocracking / Hydrotreating: Deeply saturates and purifies the oil, removing sulfur and aromatics
Isodewaxing: Enhances low-temperature flow and pour point
Hydrofinishing: Ensures high color stability, oxidative resistance, and visual clarity
Key Technical Properties (Typical Values):
Viscosity @ 100°C: ~4.8–5.3 cSt
Viscosity Index (VI): 110–120
Flash Point (COC): >220°C
Pour Point: -18°C to -21°C
Color (ASTM D1500): L0.5 (water-clear)
Sulfur Content: ≤ 0.03%
Saturates: ≥ 90%
Oxidation Stability: Excellent
Volatility: Low – supports reduced oil consumption and emissions
