Infineum P5500 – Passenger Car Motor Oil Additive Package

Infineum P5500 is a high-performance additive package formulated for the production of premium gasoline engine oils. It is designed to meet a wide range of API “S” service categories, including API SP, through appropriate treat rates in approved base oils. P5500 provides outstanding performance in terms of sludge control, wear protection, oxidation resistance, and deposit cleanliness.ش

This additive package supports multigrade engine oil formulations in a variety of viscosity grades and is compatible with approved non-dispersant viscosity modifiers and performance boosters. It is engineered to deliver reliable and cost-effective performance for today’s advanced engine technologies.

Recommended Treat Rate
The standard treat rate for Infineum P5500 is 7.0 wt%, when used in conjunction with Infineum-approved base oils and formulation components.

Blending and Storage

• Minimum loading/unloading temperature: 55 °C
• Maximum loading/unloading temperature: 65 °C
• Do not reheat above: 65 °C
• Maximum storage temperature: 60 °C
• Product should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated area, protected from moisture and direct heat
• Use low-pressure steam or oil-jacketed systems for heating if necessary
• Shelf life: Refer to Infineum’s storage guidelines; product remains stable under standard storage conditions
