Silicone Oil Antifoam 12500 is a high-viscosity, 100% polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) fluid designed for use as an antifoam, release agent, mechanical fluid, lubricant, and specialty chemical component. Due to its unique chemical structure, this silicone oil provides exceptional thermal stability, low surface tension, and superior water repellency across a broad temperature range. It is transparent, inert, and non-toxic, making it suitable for a wide variety of industrial and specialty applications.

Applications

3. Mechanical Fluid – Excellent thermal and chemical stability for mechanical and hydraulic uses.
4. Lubricant – Reduces friction on plastic and elastomer surfaces; compatible with PTFE, MoS₂, and other additives.
5. Polishes and Specialties – Used in automotive and furniture polishes for high gloss and water repellency.
6. Electrical & Electronics – Serves as an insulating and damping fluid due to superior dielectric properties.
