OZ 9876 is a Zinc Dioctyl Primary Alkyl Dithiophosphate (ZDDP), a multifunctional additive widely used in modern lubricant formulations. It delivers excellent oxidation stability, corrosion inhibition, and anti-wear performance, while also providing extreme pressure protection in metal-to-metal contact conditions. This additive exhibits high thermal stability, favorable oil solubility, and excellent compatibility with other common lubricant components such as detergents, dispersants, and base oils. OZ 9876 is especially effective in the formulation of high-performance diesel engine oils and anti-wear hydraulic fluids.
